Every Neo user belongs to a team, the group that owns your workspace, integrations, and billing. Neo creates a team automatically the first time you sign up or connect an integration like Slack, GitHub, or Jira. If you’re the first person from your organization to do so, you become that team’s Owner. Manage your team from Settings → Team.

Inviting teammates

1

Open Team settings

Go to Settings → Team.
2

Send an invite

Click Invite and enter the email address of the person you want to add. You can invite multiple teammates at once.
3

Teammate accepts

The invited person receives an email with a link to join. Once they accept, they appear in your team member list with the Member role by default.
Invites are scoped to your team. Anyone who accepts joins the same workspace, projects marked Everyone in team, and the connected integrations your team already has set up.

Roles

Change a teammate’s role from Settings → Team by opening their entry and selecting a new role. Only Owners and Admins can change roles or remove other teammates.

What’s shared across the team

Work in Neo is team-scoped by default:
  • Issues aggregate findings across every project, task, and team member in the workspace. See Issues.
  • Projects can be set to Everyone in team so all current and future members get access automatically, or Invite only to limit access to specific people. See Projects.
  • Integrations (Slack, GitHub, Jira, Linear) are connected once per team and shared by every member, though each integration applies its own admin and access rules on top of your Neo role.

Removing a teammate

From Settings → Team, open the teammate’s entry and click Remove. Their access to the workspace, its projects, and connected integrations is revoked immediately. Tasks, issues, and projects they created stay in the workspace.

Per-integration access

Connecting an integration doesn’t automatically give every team member the same access to it. Slack, GitHub, and Jira each layer their own admin and permission model on top of your Neo team role: Check those pages when a teammate can use Neo in the app but not through a connected integration, or the reverse.
